Fuel injection problem 200

Hi fellow brick owners: I have a 1981 240DL wagon with CI type injection system. The engine suddenly died and won't start. I have spark but no fuel at the injectors. Pumps and filter are new and I have good fuel flow to the fuel distributer. I thought that the distributer was bad so changed it also. Still no fuel flow at the injectors with the engine cranking. If I raise the air flow meter manually, I get fuel flow at the injectors. Any suggestions on what to look at next would be greatly appreciated as I am stumped. Thank you in advance. Tim Coen
