Hi John

I would keep the 40 offset and dish the wheel outwards. Below is 2 links to photos of my 74 144 project car with 16/7inch volvo genimi wheels these have a 20 offset and no clearence problem. This car will have volvo 850t5 16/6.5inch(43 0ffset)wheel fitted with spacers and longer wheel studs when it goes for rego
