Idle Problems 200

I've been having some irratic idle problems (only when the motor is warm), so this afternoon I cleaned out the IAC pretty well. Seemed to help, but I didn't get the engine warm and out on the road to really test it out.

I fear that it might be a vacuum-related problem. The idle tends to bottom out every few seconds, and especially right after depressing the the clutch in order to come to a stop. Could a vacuum leak cause this, or would a vacuum leak only make the idle go up?

Note: when I depress the clutch and the engine speed plummets, right when it gets down to about 100 rpm or so and surges back up to a normal idle, I hear a "hiss" coming from the dash, maybe the vents. Would this normally happen if the engine goes that low (it almost has to restart itself), or does this indicate a vacuum problem?

What else could be the elusive cuplrit?
