PV Stoplight Switch 444-544

As usual, my excuses for my spanglish.

Near a year ago, I had a similar experience.

In my 121 I make a little different approach after my brake hidraulic switch gone away.

First, I replace the damaged switch with a Volskwagen Beetle brake light hidraulic switch (Brazilian Olympic IF 1020 C15 ZBA 945.515 part).

As an addition, I put a new glass-mounted central brake light (bosch made,a popular accesory available on any car shop) on the middle lower section of my rear windshield. I link this new light with a metalic switch (similar to the one on the kit of Ron Kwas, Ron: thanks for the idea, I see one of your pictures on the web) and attach it to a new electric line with his own fuse (on the electrical trunk of the Amazon I find a non-used line and use it).

I set the switch over the pedal using an hand made aluminium bracket (made from a piece of aluminium "L" bar from a discarded home window, cutting it with a hand saw - the effort is no different from cut wood). Now, first the central light is on at the first pressure, after more pressure, the original brake lights also are on.

As a additional precautory measure, I attach the old ones with a additional pilot light on the cabin for check purpouses, this is easy work if you know a bit of electicity repairs.
