Supercharging a B20 (AGAIN) 140-160

I have a bunch on my B20F conversion to MS on my web site at

Briefly, MS doesn't use the AMM, but rather a intake manifold pressure sensor (like D-jet). The injector pulse width is derived from a user-defined matrix of manifold pressure vs. RPM. The numbers in the fuel map are percentages of volumetric efficiency. These numbers are then passed through formulas that correct for various sensor conditions - air density based on temperature, warmup enrichment, throttle enrichment, etc.

Assuming your sensors are all calibrated (not difficult), all you have to change is the values in the map for tuning. If you run it closed loop with a wideband O2 sensor, the process is pretty automatic - values are suggested by the software based on the AFR and current value.

It's really cool, and well worth considering. The only thing is that you have to have soldering and electronics troubleshooting skills to get it all together.

If you decide to use it on your B20, I'll be happy to share my experiences. There are at least 2 or 3 others working on B20s. Mine is the only one running so far (AFAIK). It will, BTW, work fine with forced induction. The sensor is good up to 250 kPa.
