B20 Crank Differences Auto Versus Manual 140-160

Should be a drop-in. I've put a '73 motor in a '74 140 (or was it the other way 'round?).....

Be aware that the motors are slightly different. The '73 had the last of the D-jet whereas the '74 is the first of the K-jet. Also, the '73 was the last of the 6-bolt crank and the '74 is the first of the 8-bolt crank.

From A/T to manual tranny, the cranks are the same. If the crank was originally used with an A/T, you'll need to install a pilot bearing to use it with a clutch.
