B20 Crank Differences Auto Versus Manual 140-160

We converted a 75 164E from auto to manual- all that was needed was the flywheel and the pilot bearing.
(My wife ended up driving the "donor car" with the automatic swapped into it for 3 years after that!)
Oddly enough, Volvo installed catalytic converters on the auto-equipped '75s but the manual trans cars did not require it. Or maybe it was the other way around, but that is an example of how close the cars were to meeting the emissions standards of the day. Weird regulations.
Good luck with your project!
