I don't know how different a PV is from an Amazon in this respect, but I remember that I did remove and reinstall a 122 windshield to fix a leak, and and did it without cutting the rubber. It was a long time ago, but I think I did it by just applying steady pressure from the inside till one side popped free and then prying the whole thing out with a wooden wedge. I believe that the whole idea behind installing these windshields without sealant was a safety measure. They were meant to pop out in a collision when you hit the inside with your noggin. At the time, the car was only about ten years old, and the rubber was still pliable. With age-hardened rubber would be more of a problem.
