Proper timing setting 700 1990

Don..Let me start off by saying you are absolutly correct...After I finished the timing belt install, I went for a test drive and was way down on power..I just assumed I needed to set timing with light..After reading you response I rechecked timing belt and I was one tooth off on the cam sprocket...Fixed it and everything is back to normal....Didn't have my Volvo/Crank Sensor thinking cap on.....Thanks for the help...Brickboard Rocks...
