My $60 2.5 700

First of all, I think you were out of line going off on "fixed login guy".

However, I think it is a pretty good ghetto exhaust system and the price is good. I suppose it's better than a rotten, leaky stock exhaust system.

My observations would be that you're not getting the true benefit of a 2.5" mandrel bent system because of the fugly bends and corregations in the flexpipe. All those ridges in the flexpipe are going to cause little vortexes in the air path and increase your backpressure, as are the ridges in the bent pipes.

FWIW, I put in a 2.5 mandrel-bent system with TWO Magnaflow mufflers for about $350. Bought the mandrel bends at JCW and had the local muffler guy weld it all together. With no mufflers, it could have been done for about $200. If you're going for performance, I'd guess you'd be better off spending the extra $140 for the mandrel bends and labor and have a true free flowing exhaust system that will last a few years.

I'm sorry if you don't find this "nice or useful" Basically, you're posting in a public forum and get the responses you get. Flaming someone because they weren't nice or useful to you accomplishes nothing.
