I'm with Dave on this one. If you have a system that's running as designed, don't mess with it.
If you want more performance, you can get much more than a stock B20E offers for around $3000 by building a whole new motor with a little custom work. Please contact me off the board if that interests you.
The middle ground between staying stock and spending $3000+ doesn't really offer satisfying solutions. Generally you'll get something that's both crankier and slower than stock, although that very crankiness might make it feel faster. Been there way to many times myself.
