Another O/D problem 200 1983

This is just a one button push. I hear the relay click and the transmission change frequency and sound like it wants to shift but sometimes doesn't. Once I am in O/D it doesn't have a problem staying in it. Getting it in is the problem. Seems to always work before the car warms up.
