Does vacuum advance really help? I have a B20A dizzy in my K-Jet car & it never helped my MPG or enabled me to lean it out. In the past I have tried to add vacuum advance to my twin HS6 economy car & I couldn't get any benefit from that either.

I think the reason B20B's & E's don't have vacuum advance from the factory is they don't actually need it.
