L/F Ball Joint Replacement - My experience (LONG) 200 1987

Well you did better than I did my first time.
My 86 needed a ball joint a couple years ago, at 200K miles. (It's the car I swapped to get my 87 5-speed).
2 of the 12mm (M8?) bolts into the strut housing broke off deep inside. I thought maybe I could drill them out... ended up hurting my back drilling up at such an odd angle.
Wound up replacing the entire strut with one from a junk. And that one, of course, had a perfectly good ball joint on it...
