SR20 into 142 140-160

Cool project, I might be doing a similiar swap soon. I plan on using the KA24DE out of an n/a 240sx. Most of my friends with nissan's did the SR swap and dumped their old engines in their garages, so I can snag them for free.

Two things to also note on the swap that others haven't mentioned. You'll need to rig up a clutch master cylinder because the sr clutch is hydraulic.

Also, gauges. The speedometer on jdm silvias is electronic. What I plan on doing is swapping the whole gauge cluster in to the 142 if it will fit, haven't measured one yet.

And the last worry that someone already mentioned is the oil pan being a front sump. If you know of a pan that is rear sump with a rear pickup please let me know! I fear the front sump might interfere with the steering rods up front. I too am going to take measurements on this and see how it looks.

Awesome swap idea though, should be a potent combo in a 142.
