Hello,

If I remember correctly there were two types of Smith tachs, the optional tach that could be ordered for the 122S had a scale 1,2,3...*1000RPM, the real 123GT tach had one with a 10,20,30...*100RPM scale. also the little ring that holds the lens and the lens itself is different if I recall. The real 123 GT item had a real shiny chrome ring, the other one a sort of silver-grey ring.

In Europe there also was a GT, which was not a 123GT, it had a special trunklid tag that just read "GT"
