Roof Headlining 700 1989

My headlining is really sagging badly in the rear of my 1989 740...

I've just tried to fix it by using double sided sticky tape and it looks ok, but because the foam seems to be crumbling away I'm not sure if the sticky tape will stay up for too long...

Are there any other cheap ways of making the healining stay up? I'm trying to imagine some sort of spikey button that could be pushed in to hold the fabric and foam together??

Or does anyone here have any tips or tricks on how to fix these common healining problems?
