I used a stapler to put in about 8-10 staples which has lasted for over a year. If you use the really small ones, (1/8 inch, small desk-top stapler), they are hardly noticeable......Eventually I will replace the headliner myself. Funny, how almost any car with a cloth headliner, import or domestic, has failed to last more than 10 years.....Volvo should have stayed with the perforated vinyl like in my 240....
