After all the development, the engines are quite happy at 8000 rpm. The biggest improvement and the most satisfying though, was installing a 1800ES rear end with those huge disc brakes. I can now out brake everyone into the corners - it literally makes me laugh to be able to go in a full second later than the Porsches with what they call the my "school bus."
