My new-to-me '66 122 sedan is remarkably rust-free for it's nearly 40 years- the advantages of spending most of it's life in the NW and several years in storage. At some point someone painted the floorboards (interior) with a rust primer, which probably helped, as they look great inside and out. I guess the windshield luckily never leaked! I may give 'em a coating of POR-15 sometime. Hell, wish I could just dip the whole car in POR-15. Now that the car is living in the North East I suspect it will be an ongoing battle to keep the rust at bay. Plans are to keep the car garaged and avoid the snow at all costs!
