You are correct. Your setup is no more polluting than a turbo setup. However, you present some risk of a backfire through the intake igniting the fumes in the crankcase. I can't say why a turbo is not as susceptible to backfire, but maybe it has to do with longer hose length. I just think it is illadvised to run your na as it is today. One backfire could make for a very exciting day.

By the way, I recall reading about a mod using a typical PCV valve.
