A Volvo turbo PCV system is a closed system. It draws vacuume from the manifold during high manifold-vacuume conditions, and it draws vacuume from the turbo inlet hose at low manifold-vacuume conditions. Under no circumstances does it vent crankcase fumes to the atmosphere -- it could not be imported to the US if it did so.
