I take it you currently have an integrated brake system with a manual tranny.
The MC from the first run of split brake systems (front-rear split) used a remote booster. My USA spec '67 130 (122s) has the ATE dual circuit MC with the three-pot front calipers and Wagner rear WC. Booster is trash and the vaccum has been dis-connected... Not particularly necessary unless the driver has low leg strength (or short legs, dem gams get tired!). Main difference (beside MC) is a 3-way for the front brake lines (instead of 4-way for all the lines) and a rear brake line direct to the MC (or both to booster if equipped and functional). The proportioning (reduction) valve under the rear seat (under car) may be different from the integrated system too but I dunno. Definitely different form the all-drum system.
Point is, the MC was unlikely to change position at the factory, instead the pedal was likely altered to suit as noted below.
