The only experience I have w/ compensator boards is
swapping one in an 88 belonging to a pharmacist.
I have seen on this board(type in key-word)
where it's possible to by-pass this unreliable
gadget. Replacing it involves pulling the
speedo/gauge set . (on an 88 244)
