2 options,
1) probably the best idea, take the temp comp board out and jump pins 1 & 3 together, see bb archive post:

instructions from ipd here (in pdf formation), but they used a jumper they have, but you can make your own.

2) take the temp compensation board off & scrape the pins with a knife--don't bend them, that's what i did and has worked since (2 years).
