Stinky, Boy with a handle like that I hope you own a diesel! That is another point that I wanted to make put that post of mine was getting huge. If even a very very small percentage of the diesel cars and trucks out there went to burning waste cooking oil the surplus "free" oil market would dry up. Then what do yo do? I realize that it may never come to pass but heaven help you if it does catch on. I had never really considered the whole ball of wax that is involved in producing the stuff but I have no doubt you are on the right track with it. It is like the eco warriors screaming about how clean their electric car is. There are less and less nuke power plants everyday and a limited number of hydro electric plants so that means that the majority of electricity is still produced by burning something. Usually coal or oil to make your electricity to run your car. Which by the way is a toxic spill waiting to happen. Last time I checked they still used lead acid batteries. Hmmmm, lead and acid all over the road, that sounds like a good idea. NOT!!
I told my daughter about this guy and she laughed her head off. From time to time she still teases me about it. "Hey Dad let me know when you have a couple of spare days at the shop so I can bring the diesel in for that conversion. 'Cause you know I love the smell of chicken and fries Daddy".
Funny thing is that guy was in my center because there is a German car shop here. I saw his MB wagon drive by with all the screaming signage on it about saving the world while burning waste oil for FREE. He walks into my shop on the way out and asks if I work on diesels. I called him on it right there. "Oh you must be the guy in the MB wagon with all the propaganda right?" I think his first instinct was to turn around and hit the door running, in retrospect he should have :)
