Jeff,

After modifying the carb top (plugging up that brass orifice) you can't jet the thing as you would an unmodified Weber DGV, perhaps you should go straight to the source of the 'performance jetting kit' and contact Top End Performance. I told them what was under my hood, they supplied the jets, instructions, and a gasket or 2. Worked for me!
