I replaced everything at the same time. I'm wondering if the temp sender is not accurate, but i don't have an infrared thermometer to check the coolant temp. The coolant in the expansion tank is cool all the time, though. I tried disconnecting the temp sender wire, and the gauge read cold. I grounded the wire, and it read hot, so maybe I got the wrong sender? I got it from FCP, and it is the only one they have listed for the 240. The car is also idling high, which would lead me to believe the temp sender for the CIS is also reading hot and increasing the idle speed?
