FWIW - the air temp sensor has only a very subtl effect on how the car runs. You could probably unplug it and not notice *too* much difference.
When I'm troubleshooting D-Jet, I find it a good technique to pull the multi-plug off the computer, and check the various sensor readings there, instead of at the sensor (referring to a wiring diagram for the proper pairs of leads). That way you check the sensor, the connection, and all the wiring between. If you get an off reading, check again at the sensor to isolate sensor problems from wiring problems.
There just aren't that many sensors on a D-Jet car, it doesn't take long to go over all of them. And surprisingly, the car will run with many/most of them disconnected (other than the trigger contacts).
