I Just called up the garage that I told you about and I asked them how much it costs me. They said it depends, there is a soft part and a hard part. A soft part is like weak seals or minor problems, and that would costs me somewhere around $300-$600. A hard part is a major repair, that would take things apart and put them back togethter. The cost of that major repair is somewhere between $2500- and up. I asked them if they can find a reputable junkyard and they say they don't do that b/c the tranny from the junk yard could be just as bad. They are coming to tow my car and they are going to let me know whether its a soft part or a hard part.
Klaus, if they charge me that much for a hard part, I might as well going to the dealer, right?
