Any way of knowing whether erasing the code(s) first might fix it? Or would you suspect the motor? ALso, based on my previous experience wih Volvo blower motors, some American car somewhere is probably using the same motor and the part would be cheaper ordered at Autozon for the cross-referenced car.

(In my 745T, the $120 Volvo blower was the exact same part as the $17 Chevy blower. The parts game is a racket.)
