The other cross-referenced blower motors I've installed were EXACTLY the same part. Labels, manufacturer part numbers, everything. The only difference was the price tag ($17, not a misprint, vs $120). No modifications whatsoever were required.

Unfortunately, I don't know what other cars your blower motor might be running in. Maybe your library has a current catalog of cross-referenced parts (there IS such a book). That's how the anonymous angel who posted the 740 hint to the brickboard a few years ago found it.
