Here is something to think about, maybe the valve or the pump is not drawing enough current or giving enough resistance due to age or malfunction.

Although it's working or seems to be working, very much like when you instal 35w HID or use LED in the brake lights, the bulb out warning light will be triggered due to lowered power draw and the car thinks they are out even though both are functioning.

Just a thought and keep us updated
