Thanks B.B. - 'not sure if this noise qualifies as a 'growl'. It is more of a non-periodic, low-frequency rattle. Again, it is mostly noticeable at low speeds on bumpy roads with engine hot. But I will check her transmission fluid tonight (it looked OK a couple of months ago).

P.S.: I just ordered the transmission torque mount from IPD. That way I can check off engine mounts as being the source, and having been replaced in the maintenance records.
