My 816 has one. Not sure about 815. Also not sure where you
would get a remote. Alpine is the manufacturer so that might be
a clue to a source.

On a couple of occasions I have had the volume change to very loud,
way past what the auto level compensation will do. The sunroof was
open. I guess the sun hit the sensor just right. The sun makes a
poor remote, though :)
