1993 240 idle issues.. a mystery! 200

No, have not had a stuck injector, but a look at the plugs would have confirmed the problem was localized. An original intake manifold gasket can give you the 113 - don't lose your focus because the book says injector fault; that is someone's idea of being terse. The ECU knows nothing of the injector operation, and in fact knows nothing about how the motor is being fed except through the oxygen sensor.

What I did not find in my reading of this thread is any certain confirmation you know how to reset the ECU. Once you have the limp home adaptation, no amount of fooling with the OBD box is gonna put it back - you have to interrupt the power. Early prod 93, you lift fuse 6. If you have the fuse block on the battery terminal, you would do it there, or by momentarily pulling the plug off of the ECU.

I'd suggest you meter the oxygen sensor, but get familiar with your meter, or try another -- sounds like your coil resistance testing isn't going well with the one you have. What Jorrell suggests to reaffirm your secondary open is a good idea; but as long as you are fetching a resistor to verify your meter, just measure it. The coil secondary should read about 10 thousand ohms, and that number will vary quite a lot with temperature, so give it a blessing if between 8K and 15K. BTW, my sparks, right off the coil, cranking, with EZK ignition, are orangey for the most part too. I doubt this is an ignition trouble if you don't feel it at full throttle.

When you check the oxygen sensor, think about that assertion you made about the motor ignoring it until it warms up. The whole reason you have a heated oxygen sensor is to get that report in seconds, not minutes. You'll find out a sensor that is stuck lean, or worse, contaminated at the reference air and delivering reversed polarity, will send your ECU to limp home and 113 in just a couple minutes. Also, make sure the heater working.

If you're still pointed toward injectors, use that mode 3 testing with the residual pressure to check them, one at a time. Run the pumps with 4-6 jumper if the residual pressure is not enough on yours.
