Thank you Art! The picture clarifies everything. My radio has none of these controls.

I have been cleaning heads,etc., with isopropyl.

One further question. I have been getting static from the volume control for some time now. I have the radio partially apart and I thought i might try to clean up the rheostat but it looks like I will have to unsolder the control to get it apart. I will include a couple of pictures. I haven't removed the bottom plate yet because if I have to unsolder I will probably choose to live with the static.
