does anyone know what kind of tool i need to open the plugs on my J-type overdrive on the bottom? Last time i built a costume one but i could only open two of the three plugs (the middle one stuck).
Also, under the middle plug, there is a small pump - can the pump or o-rings there be the reason why my OD starts slipping when warm?? I changed the o-rings on the two pistons that press the clutch, and the o-rings at the solenoid.
Someone mentioned i can use Dextron for the tranny but so far everyone says i should stay away from it - so what is now the right oil to use??
