Said car is a 1989 760 Turbo. B230FT, AW71, LH 2.2.
I was driving down 19th, accelerating into the turn at the intersection at 25th and I suddenly lost power for a moment. All was well, and I continued on to Marin where I promptly lost power (past Sausalito).
When cool (and probably when cold) the car runs okay. Once it's warmed up, it runs like garbage. It smells pretty rich.
So far I've swapped in known good: fuel pump relay, radio suppression relay, power stage, and AMM. I've reseated the plug wires, checked for breaks in the intake hoses (no such luck), swapped in a new fuse for the pre-pump (which didn't seem like it was bad), checked for anything clogging up the air box. No go.
I've unplugged the vacuum hose to the FPR, no change. Unplugged the coolant temp sensor, no change. I've unplugged each of the fuel injectors, and the car runs far worse on only three injectors.
When warm, the car runs better with the AMM unplugged (however it will die if you give it much throttle in neutral or in gear).
What now?
