Getting to hate this engine B20B 140-160 1970

Interesting observation .... I filled here at home then next fill was in Sussex, NB which was far higher than NS price per liter, next fill was in Brewer, Maine just across the river from Bangor, and 1/2 tank later I arrived in Freeport at Bob Silvius place. Considering that after we changed carbs I checked out the old ones and could actually get enough sideways movements from the throttle shafts to make an audible click. Most of the trip was cruising between 75 and 80 mmph ... LOVE the loose interpretation of the 55 mph limit the folks use on the "Airline Route" between Calais and Bangor .... at 75 mph I was getting passed on a fairly regular basis ... most with Maine Tags on their cars. I-95's 65 mph limit also seemed to be liberally interpreted as 80 mph .... and the Staties appeared either to be very well hidden or totally absent from the highways ... can't say much different about the RCMP but I actually did see a car somewhere in New Brunswick ....
