Oh, and ... 140-160 1973

Is a tube that was previously open to the air now closed? Well, I guess if one that was open now goes to the air filters, that doesn't make any difference... But I was just thinking off on a whim that the car is idling really low because there is no longer a vacuum leak, but I doubt it. I'm sure you've revved it up anyway and it still ran rough at higher than idle speeds.

I still think it's something ignition wise, but, it sounds as if you've checked, checked, and checked that again! Sorry man! Wish we could be there to help. :-\
