Regina problems 700 1990

You probably saw this in the O2 sensor thread:

I have used the fuel pressure regulator for LH 2.4 ('89 740 8 valve with Bosch, for instance)for years now and it appears to work identically to the expensive one specified for Rex-Regina.

I think this is a very good place to start looking. I don't believe a bad O2 sensor is ever going to keep your car from starting.
