Hot idle problem - 74 164E 140-160

I would have thought if it were a sensor that the idle problem would happen every time - but I can run it for hours right after I crank it for the first time each day (and it idles fine), but the minute I let it sit for 10 minutes, it won't idle. Once it cools again, it will idle fine until the next time I turn it off and try to run it hot.
