Hot idle problem - 74 164E 140-160

When the AAV plays up, they sometimes don't fully close, then when you turn off the engine after a drive, the little extra heat might make it close further & stay that way for awhile until it gets fully cold & opens again.

I would say disconnect it, see if that solves the problem, then put some CRC or WD-40 in it & see if that makes it work better.
