71' 145 strange problems... 140-160

Jason, you forgot to mention the OTHER problem, the brakes! :-P

And, I think we'll need to see if that clutch fan works... Hmmmmmm didily, not sure how to do that really, other than start the car and rev it up and see if the fan spins faster along with the engine. It was spinning freely when I installed it, but that is/could be normal. We'll see.

The car has a weber DGV on it, and I don't recal ever seeing a kickdown cable on it... Jason, while the engine was running and warmed up a bit(probably after a drive would be best, without getting it hot anyway), did you check the AT fluid level with it in Park? When you said you filled it up, you did mean when the engine was running and with it in park, correct?(car needs to be on to set the correct fluid level)
