A couple things that might tell a bit about system health:
With the ignition turned on but the engine not running, under
the hood open the throttle. You should hear a series of clicks from the
injectors as the throttle position switch cycles them.
If you DO, then pull ALL the injectors as a unit, put a newspaper under
them and do it again. You should find a gasoline pattern in front of each one.
If you find one or more not injecting, disconnect the ones that do inject and
try again and listen for the clicks. If none, either the connections are bad
or the injectors are stuck shut. If they are stuck you may be able to break
them loose by gently pushing on the pin sticking out of the end of the injector.
It should move about 0.020"
Once you get them all working that way, try the same thing but crank the
engine and observe the pattern. If none or two of them inject you probably
have a problem with the triggering points in the bottom of the distributor or
the wiring to them.
All the above assumes that you DO have fuel pressure, which should be 28 psi.
It can be adjusted by turning the locked bolt in the bonnet of the fuel pressure
regulator and relocking.
