I currently use a 4:56 rear. I used a 4.3 when I first got the car but the 4.56 works better at my home track (Summit Point). On a cool day it will pull over 7000 in fourth but a legal ITB car's power is dropping off by then. Tire size enters into play too.

I found a transmission, now I'll start looking for the drive shaft and flange.
