Need A/C Diagnosis

The harness on the receiver/dryer is connected to a safety cut-out.

By jumping it, you bypass that cut-out.

You system is too low on refrigerant charge to get above the low pressure cut-out.

Adding R134a is easy, if you have the equipment. I got a hose connector with a gauge, and a can of R134a at AutoZone for around $30. A second can was about $6.00.

Good Luck,

Bob
