Need A/C Diagnosis

Please note something - please DO NOT connect the can to the tap on top of the dryer. That is NOT the low side, it is the HIGH side on that system. If the compressor kicks in the can could possibly likely explode in your hands as the pressure can reach over 250 PSI.

On that car the low side is most likely at the back of the compressor, I think the one nearest the fender (if it has two).

Usually if you let a can expand into the system (after it is vacuumed) the low pressure cutoff will trigger & compressor will kick in to suck the rest out of the can. If not, you can always bypass the low pressure cut off switch to start it off faster. Plug it back later and let it do it`s thing.
