Maybe timing but I don't know. If spark occurs at all, it should at least clear the cylinders. You've got wet cylinders. That leads me to think that instead of an A/F mix, you are getting liquid fuel; drowning the spark plugs.

I was just looking over my manuals. Does your car have a cold start injector? Maybe it is dribbling or maybe the thermal/time switch is keeping it on. After that, I'm out of guesses ;-)
